“Conduits for Joy” is a short film that follows Play Outdoors Productions founder Ali and Stayer Cycles frame builder Sam as they explore what it means to create things that help them and others experience happiness. Watch it here…
Play Outdoors Productions is a new production house and community for underrepresented voices in music and the outdoors. Their mission is to amplify marginalized voices, explore new forms of storytelling, champion new compositions by emerging composers, and increase the accessibility of art music. Conduits for Joy is their first film, produced in collaboration with Stayer Cycles, the East London bicycle workshop. It follows Ali making bassoon reeds and Sam making bicycles for Stayer and explores what it means to them to create conduits for joy.
