The latest Trek Emonda ALR just launched with slippery tube shapes, updated geometry and a sleek new profile — in a reasonably-light package.
Not only is the new Emonda ALR sleek, it’s also very affordable at $2300 for a complete build with Shimano 105 mechanical. Pouring over the new frameset, it’s hard to imagine that it’s made from 300 Series Alpha Aluminum instead of carbon, because that Invisible Weld technology does wonders. Without a doubt, advancements in aluminum shaping have made this bike possible. Up front, the alloy frame does have a carbon fiber fork to reduce chatter and comfort, by the way. Internal routing keeps the look clean and it’s also available as a frame-only for those who want to make the Emonda ALR their own.
$2300 gets you this beautiful ALR5.
