The new OneUp Small Composite Pedals offer the same grippy platform and excellent value as their larger siblings but are designed around riders with smaller feet. Plus, the new Friendly Pins offer a great feature for kids learning to ride. Find all the details here…
OneUp Components from Squamish, British Columbia, just introduced a new pedal. The Oneup Small Composite Pedals pack all of the features from one of our favorite flat pedals, the regular Composite Pedals, into a more compact shape that works better for smaller feet.
OneUp recommends the small pedal for riders with a shoe size up to US Womens 8 or US Mens 6.5. The platform is 97.5mm x 92mm, which is about 15mm longer and 13mm wider than the regular 115mm x 105mm Composite Pedal.
The OneUp Small Composite Pedals also have adjustable pins that allow you to increase pedal grip as skills and confidence grow. The Small Pedals have seven steel pins per side and come with OneUp’s new Friendly Pins installed. The Friendly Pin has a threaded sleeve that covers a regular pedal pin, the same pins found on the full-size Composite Pedal. For experienced riders who want more grip, you can remove the Friendly Pin and leave the more aggressive threaded pin exposed.
