Utah-based Pine Cycles is kicking off the year with preorders for their versatile, US-made RASA all-road bike frame, which is available as a frame or complete build. Check it out here…
Launched last year, Pine Cycles is a new bike brand based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. From the beginning, they focused on producing US-made steel frames with versatility. The RASA was their debut frame, and as of today, preorders are open for the next batch. Pine has partnered with the newly formed Lunchtime Bike Co, a BIPOC-femme-welded steel bicycle company that specializes in batch production, to build the latest RASA frames, which are expected to be completed by March.
The Pine Cycles RASA is an all-road/gravel frame designed around 700C x 35mm, 650B x 48mm, or 26 x 2.3″ tires with either disc or rim brakes. The RASA features custom dropout inserts and multiple fork offerings, allowing it to be built up for all-day road riding, gravel biking, tracklocross, light touring, commuting, or dirt-road bikepacking, according to the company.
The frameset includes the RASA frame, a USA-made Allied carbon fork or USA-made steel fork, and USA-made White Industries custom headset. Retail price starts at $2,100 + shipping. Pine Cycles is also happy to announce they are now offering completes and can work with each customer to offer a build catered to their specific needs. Complete prices start at $4,300. They are also pursuing new dealers to expand distribution, partnering with some amazing shops including Toronto’s Blacksmith Bikes, California’s Marin Service Course, and Seattle’s Goodweather Bikes. Shops can reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for dealer pricing.
