Reeb Cycles has added an all-new 155mm travel enduro mountain bike to the roster in the form of the Steezl. The steel front triangle and aluminum stays are fabricated into a frameset with USA-made Selective Laser Melted 3D-printed BB cluster and beautifully machined aluminum hardware. It really is a work of art. We want.
Let’s take a closer look at the bike “bike is “designed to pedal all day and destroy technical descents“.
With the arrival of the 155mm Reeb Steezl, we say farewell to the now discontinued Sqweeb. The Steezl sits atop the Colorado manufacturer’s range of mountain bikes as its longest travel offering, pairing a steel front triangle with the tried and tested aluminum swingarm seen on the Sqweeb and the Brewser (an experimental super long travel bike that hasn’t made it to production yet).
While the Sqweeb was an aluminum mountain bike, the front triangle of the Steezl is born via a radically different fabrication method from a chromoly 4130 steel tubeset with a 3D printed BB cluster at its center.

Reeb is sticking with the horst-link suspension platform, the travel delivered by which cannot be adjusted. It can, however, run a 29″ or a 27.5″ rear wheel thanks to the geometry correction provided by a flip-chip at the lower shock mount.
The Steezl will be available in five sizes (S-XXL) and, for the first time in the brand’s history, the bike will see size-adjusted chainstays. They aren’t truly proportional but the S, M and L frames will see a shorter rear-center length of 434mm, while the XL and XXL frames get the longer 444mm rear end.
A head angle of 64° is coupled to an effective (and actual) seat tube angle of 77°. Reach is generous, though, starting at 445mm on the Small, and topping out at 520mm on the XXL. Reeb says the Steezl’ sizing is dialed for anyone between 5ft and 6ft 6″.
As such, the seat tube is dead straight, and impressively short at just 420mm on the Large. The intention there is to allow riders to run super long travel dropper seat posts, and to center their frame size decision around a preferred reach figure without having to be overly concerned with standover height. As a complete 29er, the Steezl has a 25mm BB drop.
No kinematic information is provided, but the marketing material says this, “Updated kinematics improve pedaling performance, reduce kickback deep in the travel, and hone in on a perfect leverage curve to keep things smooth, controlled, and consistent whether pedaling up a fire road, sending your favorite jump line, or blasting into a scree field at race speed“. Make of that what you will.
Reeb says the Steezl is happy with either an air or a coil shock.
