Today’s Weekend Snapshot whisks us away to the Southeastern US, Canada’s West Coast, and through Scotland and England. Start your Monday by catching up on what three folks from the community were up to close to home over the weekend, and find a link to share scenes from your rides here…
Again this week, we share three examples of passionate riders not letting winter weather hold them back. We head to Georgia, British Columbia, and nearly the length of Scotland and England for our latest Weekend Snapshot, sharing three glimpses of reader trips. Find a dose of inspiration to get out and ride no matter the weather below, then keep scrolling to share an image from one of your recent journeys at the bottom of this post.

A beautiful cold ride in the North Georgia to Tennessee mountains, namely the Cohutta & Pinhoti Forests. Was a balmy 27°F and full moon where we could see our breath in the midnight glow.

Finally back on the bike after more than a month of resting an injured wrist, Emily, Phil, and I decided to ride trails out to the first trail day put on by our local cycling association. We rode bikes and laughed, dug in the dirt for an hour, and enjoyed a quick BBQ with friends before a café stop and oceanside cruise back home. The perfect Saturday!

The UK experienced a cold snap before Christmas, which coincided with our planned ride from Edinburgh to London. The conditions made the already beautiful countryside spectacular and ensured we were grateful to sit in front of the fire with a nice pint at the end of each day!
Send Us Your Weekend Snapshot
We’ll be selecting three photos per week to feature in Weekend Snapshot. Send yours along for consideration, and if it’s selected, we’ll be in touch! Note: we prefer 3:2 ratio landscape oriented photos.
