Our friend Gary of the excellent Gary’s Projects YouTube channel, an avid tinkerer, rebuilder, and general 90s bike geek, just uploaded an interesting new video in which he shares his thoughts on a broad range of handlebars that have been popular among folks restoring old bikes for commuting and all-road touring. With his usual laid-back and honest approach, Gary offers mini reviews and a comparison of everything from the classic Nitto Albatross (one of my favorites) to the new MOTHBAR from Magic Components.
